More than 850 athletes compete in the "Cultural Heritage Connection Journey" Cross-Country Race in Hai Duong province

The Organizing Committee of the 1st Hai Duong Province Cross-Country Race "Cultural Heritage Connection Journey" in 2024 has closed the competition registration website at:https://raceplatform.vn/campai, from February 15.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the first Hai Duong province cross-country race "Journey to connect cultural heritage" has a total of more than 850 athletes competing. Specifically, there are 570 athletes registered via the website, 100 athletes from Babeeni Vietnam Corporation, 100 high-performance athletes from Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, 30 athletes from Vietcombank Chi Linh...

Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is dividing the athletes into stages, placing BIBs (chip-attached cards to control athletes and evaluate their performance). It is expected that early next week, the Organizing Committee will conduct a final review of the stages, draw the running route, and survey the locations of water stations for athletes.

The first Hai Duong Province Cross-Country Race "Cultural Heritage Connection Journey" in 2024 will take place on February 26 (January 17), coinciding with the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival. The race has 3 distances: 5 km, 10 km and 15 km. All 3 distances start from the Con Son Pagoda parking lot. The 5 km distance finishes at the starting point; the 10 km and 15 km distances finish at the Kiep Bac Temple's gate.

The first Hai Duong province cross-country race "Cultural Heritage Connection Journey" in 2024 will be the basis for the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to evaluate and gain experience in organizing a marathon over 42 km.
