Hai Duong Farmers' Association promotes farmer start-up movement

This year, the Provincial Farmers' Association strives to innovate the content and methods of operation, build and strengthen the association organization towards enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation. The Association strives to have 60% or more of farming households registered, 50% or more of registered households achieving the title of excellent production and business at all levels. Strive to admit 3,000 members; establish 80 professional farmer associations and 12 professional farmer branches. Have 97% of the association bases successfully complete their tasks. Directly and coordinate vocational training and development for 6,000 members and rural workers. Support at least 1,600 farming households to have accounts on e-commerce platforms...

In 2023, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province overcame difficulties and achieved many positive results. Through evaluation, 117,409 households achieved the title of good production and business at 4 levels (accounting for 65.3% of registered households), of which 233 households were at the central level, 3,841 households at the provincial level, 20,674 households at the district level, and the rest were at the grassroots level.

The associations at all levels have mobilized, guided, and supported the establishment of 85 economic development models, including 5 cooperatives, 32 cooperative groups, and 48 models of groups linking production and consumption of safe agricultural products, bringing the total number to 503 effective collective economic models. The whole province has built and maintained 607 environmental protection models...
