The Hai Duong Province Veteran Entrepreneurs Association has spent more than VND6.5 billion on social security activities. This figure was announced at the conference summarizing the association's activities in 2024 held on November 25 in Hai Duong City.
This year, the Hai Duong Province Veterans Business Association has supported the repair and construction of 10 "comradeship" houses for veterans in difficult circumstances with a value of more than 700 million VND; supported 750 million VND for the "For the Poor" Fund, gave Tet gifts in 2024 to the disadvantaged... In addition, the association also actively supports charity activities, the movement to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas...
The Provincial Veteran Entrepreneurs Association has established 13 affiliated associations with a total of 1,460 members. It has established 72 Veteran Entrepreneurs and Military Veterans Clubs in all districts, towns and cities. The Association is also the first unit in the country to organize associations at all three levels.
On this occasion, the Hai Duong Provincial Veterans Business Association and Mr. Pham Van Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Business Association, were awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister for their achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
The Vietnam Veterans Association awarded 13 members, and the Vietnam Veterans Entrepreneurs Association awarded 9 groups and 16 individuals for their outstanding achievements in production, good business, and positive contributions to social security.
At the conference, the Provincial Veterans Association and the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association of 12 districts, towns and cities signed a regulation on coordination of activities for the period 2024-2029. This is a premise for all levels of the Veterans Association, Veteran Entrepreneurs Association and Veterans Association to coordinate to operate more creatively and effectively.
