From January 14-18, Thanh Mien District Youth Union organized the program "Warm winter in the highlands" in difficult communes of Ha Giang province.
Thanh Mien District Youth Union awarded scholarships to students of Phieng Luong Primary School
The program mobilized from the Young Entrepreneurs Club and cadres and youth union members in the district to support 70 million VND in cash along with many necessities and essential items with a total value of over 130 million VND.
All the money and gifts were given to students of Phieng Luong Primary School and 60 poor households in Phieng Luong commune (Bac Me district), Lung Cu (Dong Van district), Na Chi (Xin Man district, all in Ha Giang province). Among them, 1 household in Phieng Luong commune received 15 million VND to repair their house.
Thanh Mien District Youth Union also presented Lung Cu Border Guard Station with 2 large national flags worth 10 million VND to hang on Lung Cu flagpole; presented 300 national flags to 300 households in the border area of Lung Cu commune.
