Hai Duong students won fourth prize in national science and technology competition

On the afternoon of March 22, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students for the 2023-2024 school year took place in Bac Giang. Hai Duong students won fourth prize in this competition.

Of the two projects participating in the competition, Hai Duong had one project that won the fourth prize. That was the project "Research on synthesis of CO2 gas adsorption materials" in the field of environmental engineering by Nguyen Trung Hieu (Nguyen Van Cu High School, Hai Duong City) and Pham My Hanh (Tu Ky High School), the instructor was Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Principal of Nguyen Van Cu High School.

This is an excellent project selected from 6 first prizes at the Provincial Science and Technology Competition for High School Students in the 2023-2024 school year.

Also at this competition in the 2022-2023 school year, Hai Duong has 1 third prize from students of Le Quy Don Secondary School (Hai Duong City); 1 promising prize from students of Hong Quang High School and Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

The national science and technology competition for high school students for the 2023-2024 school year was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training from March 20-22 in Bac Giang. The competition had the participation of 74 units, including 62/63 Departments of Education and Training and 12 units from universities, colleges, and the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences. This year, there were a total of 149 projects participating in the competition (including 15 individual projects and 14 projects from secondary school students). These projects were selected from provincial and school-level competitions (for high schools affiliated with universities and colleges); in 21 fields.

The Organizing Committee awarded 106 prizes, including 10 first prizes, 17 second prizes, 23 third prizes, 27 fourth prizes and 29 promising prizes.
