81 projects participated in the Provincial Science and Technology Competition for high school students

On the morning of December 17, the Department of Education and Training opened the Provincial Science and Technology Competition for high school students for the 2023-2024 school year at Sao Do University (Chi Linh City).

The organizers presented souvenir flags to the units participating in the competition.

This year's competition has 81 outstanding projects selected from 131 registered projects of 12 district-level Departments of Education and Training and 35 high schools in the province.

The products participating in the contest are in 3 fields, including: 36 physics - engineering projects, 26 social science and behavioral projects, 19 chemistry - biology projects. Kim Thanh Department of Education and Training is the unit with the most participating projects.

Mr. Do Duy Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, affirmed that this year's competition attracted many quality projects with elaborate investment and creativity.

The Organizing Committee is expected to summarize and award prizes on December 18. The two best products will be selected to participate in the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2023-2024 school year, scheduled to be held in March 2024 in Bac Giang province.

47 units have projects participating in the competition

In this competition in the 2022-2023 school year, there were also 81 entries. The Organizing Committee awarded 79 prizes, including: 2 first prizes, 16 second prizes; 25 third prizes; 36 fourth prizes.
