Hai Duong prosecutes a company director for tax evasion

The company's illegal gas filling factory was discovered by the authorities.

According to the investigation results, in September 2019, Pham Van Quyen established Global Green Energy One Member Co., Ltd., located at 9F Tong Duy Tan, Ngoc Chau Ward (Hai Duong City) to do business in the garment and transportation sectors, with himself as the director. In November 2020, Quyen changed his business registration for the first time, making his wife the director, the business line was liquefied gas trading, but in fact all activities of the company were still managed by Quyen.

In early 2021, Pham Van Quyen purchased machinery and equipment for the workshop (in Nhan Nghia area, Nam Dong ward, Hai Duong city) to install to serve illegal gas decanting. In the name of the company, Quyen negotiated with Super Gas Company Limited, Hai Phong branch and Viet Hai Petroleum Trading One Member Co., Ltd. (Cam Giang district) to buy gas in the form of tank trucks, 10 tons. Then, Quyen directed employees working at the workshop to decant gas into 12 kg and 45 kg gas cylinders. The subject resold gas to 13 other gas businesses in Hai Duong province and some neighboring provinces with a total revenue of more than 7.7 billion VND. In October 2021, the company's illegal gas decanting and counterfeit goods production and trading activities were discovered by the authorities. During the investigation, Hai Duong City Police continued to discover that the subject did not declare and pay value added tax and personal income tax to the state budget as prescribed. Total tax evasion is more than 116 million VND.
