Hai Duong steps up attacks and crime suppression so people can celebrate Tet with peace of mind

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, organizations and localities to focus on preventing, fighting and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order. Along with that, improve the effectiveness of management and education of criminals in families, communities, drug addicts, illegal drug users, psychotic subjects, "stoned" people, people with mental illness or a history of mental illness who are at risk of committing crimes.

Strongly launch the movement to protect national security. Actively coordinate and participate with the police force to deploy and implement plans and strategies during the peak period of attacking and suppressing all types of crimes to ensure security and order during the 2024 Lunar New Year.

The provincial police preside over and coordinate with relevant units to strengthen the implementation of plans and projects to protect national security; promptly detect and propose measures to combat, prevent and defeat all plots and sabotage activities of hostile, reactionary and terrorist forces.

At the same time, focus on fighting and suppressing all types of criminal offenses, especially murders due to social causes, related to "black credit" activities, disturbing public order, resisting law enforcement officers, intentionally causing injury, infringement of property (robbery, snatching, extortion, theft, fraud and appropriation of property), high-tech crimes (fraud and appropriation of property, gambling). Step up the detection and fight against economic crimes, corruption, smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods. Prevent crimes and violations of environmental and food safety laws, especially items serving the Lunar New Year.

Police agencies at all levels continue to effectively promote Task Force 151 in attacking and suppressing crimes and law violations on roads, public areas, and "street crimes". Proactively detect, combat, and handle violations related to weapons, explosives, support tools, and firecrackers.
