Before that, at noon on May 14, Ms. Nhung was looking after the private kindergarten class Bong Sen (in Bao Dap commune, Tran Yen district) with 9 children. After finishing lunch, Ms. Nhung let the students go to bed. However, at this time, baby THK peed in his pants, cried and was restless.

Ms. Nhung tried to coax the boy but he did not listen, so the teacher took a black plastic bag and covered K.'s head and hit his buttocks twice. After that, the teacher put the plastic bag away and took K. to the auditorium to avoid disturbing the other children who were sleeping.

When the incident was discovered, the authorities invited Ms. Nhung and the boy's family to come and work. K. was then taken for a medical examination and concluded that there were no injuries and that his health was normal.
