Hanoi Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force rescued 2 people trapped in a burning house at 146 Yen Lang (Thinh Quang ward, Dong Da district).
On the morning of November 30, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that at about 5:20 a.m. the same day, the 114 Command Center (Hanoi City Police) received a fire alarm at a 5-story house on Yen Lang Street.
Upon receiving the news, the 114 Command Center dispatched 1 fire command vehicle, 2 fire trucks and officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Dong Da District Police to the scene to fight the fire and provide rescue.
At the scene, the house on fire was about 35 square meters, a tube house, 5 floors high. The fire started on the 3rd floor of the house with the main combustible materials being wooden tables and chairs, paper and household items, sending a lot of smoke to the upper floors. At the time of the fire, 2 family members were trapped on the 4th floor.
Upon arrival, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly deployed a fire fighting team, coordinated with the Thinh Quang Ward Police force to extinguish the fire, and at the same time organized rescue, brought 2 family members trapped on the 4th floor to a safe place, performed initial first aid and urgently took them to the nearest medical facility.
The initial cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by authorities in accordance with the provisions of law.
