The road to Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site has completed 50% of the construction volume from National Highway 37 to Con Son Pagoda.

According to the Hai Duong Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, as of May 10, the contractor in charge of the Road Project to the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site (section from National Highway 37 to Con Son Pagoda) had completed about 50% of the project volume.

Contractors focus on human resources and equipment to speed up construction progress

The contractor has basically completed the excavation and embankment of the roadbed, and is currently constructing the sidewalk and paving 2 km of asphalt concrete. Currently, the project is still stuck with the land clearance at the expansion of the 2 intersections with Highway 37.

According to the approved project, the section to Con Son Pagoda consists of 2 main routes, with a total length of nearly 3.7 km, located in Cong Hoa Ward (Chi Linh). Route 1 basically follows Provincial Road 398, which is more than 2.4 km long, while Route 2 is nearly 1.3 km long.

The road surface is 10.5 m wide, with a design speed of 50 km/h. The project has a total investment of 279 billion VND, started construction on December 5, 2023, and is expected to be completed in December 2024...
