District Road 195 project in Thanh Mien still has land clearance problems

The project to renovate and upgrade District Road 195, phase 2, is 4.3 km long, passing through Hong Quang, Doan Ket and Le Hong communes. Currently, the construction teams have completed the large box culverts, embankments, cross-culverts, roadbed embankment and drainage system on a total length of 4 km. The construction unit strives to complete the paving of 1.5 km in May for convenient travel for people.

This project currently has about 500m in Hoanh Bo village, Le Hong commune that cannot be constructed because 42 households have not agreed to hand over the land. These households believe that relocating the construction on the land requires a lot of money, so they hope the local government will support. The project to renovate and upgrade District Road 195 has a total length of 7.8 km, with a total investment of about 95 billion VND. This project is divided into 2 implementation phases and has no compensation or support for site clearance. In September 2023, phase 1 of the project with a total length of 4.5 km was completed and put into use. Thanh Mien district strives to put phase 2 into use in September this year.
