Hai Duong City has cleared more than 99% of the area of ​​the new residential area project in Quyet Thang commune.

According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong City, by early May 2024, the city had paid compensation and support to 369 households subject to site clearance and land acquisition to implement the Quyet Thang Commune New Residential Area Construction Investment Project with a total area of ​​nearly 9.9 hectares. The area that has not been cleared yet is 942 m²of 2 households, accounting for 0.95% of the total project area. Of which, Mr. Tran Van Dien's household has 222 m²land, Mrs. Nguyen Thi May's household has 720 m²land. These two households did not agree to receive compensation and requested to negotiate with the project investor.

The City People's Committee is continuing to organize propaganda and mobilize 2 households to comply with the land recovery policy, receive money and hand over the land. In case the households deliberately do not comply, the procedures for compulsory land recovery will be completed according to regulations.

The Quyet Thang commune new residential area construction investment project with a total investment capital of over 261 billion VND (excluding land use fees) was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in 2021. The project uses nearly 10 hectares of land invested by a consortium of Happy Land LLC and Ha Phuong Group JSC.
