Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway started on December 19

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the completion of site clearance and preparation of a feasibility study report to start construction of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project on December 19, 2025.

Construction of the North-South high-speed railway is expected to start before December 31, 2026.

The Government requested relevant ministries, branches and localities to organize the preparation and submission to the Prime Minister for approval of the North-South high-speed railway project and organize implementation, expected to start construction before December 31, 2026.
Hai Phong starts construction of 4,600 billion VND industrial park
