The 500 kV line 3 circuit Quang Trach - Pho Noi project has special significance.

On the morning of December 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended an online conference to review the investment and construction work of the 500 kV line 3 projects from Quang Binh to Pho Noi.

The main bridge in Hanoi was chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Also attending were representatives of relevant ministries, departments and branches.

At Hai Duong bridge, comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired, together with representatives of departments, branches, unions and leaders of localities where the 500 kV line 3 circuit passes through, including Thanh Mien, Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Ninh Giang.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Vietnam Electricity Group and ministries, localities, and press agencies for the 500 kV line 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. Talking about the significance of the project, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that through the implementation of the project, it has been shown that nothing is impossible, as long as we dare to do, dare to accept the task, and are determined to carry out the project... the vast majority are unanimous in their determination and know how to do it, we have done it.

The project has significantly contributed to enhancing the prestige, role, position and trust of the electricity sector among the people and domestic and foreign enterprises. Through the implementation of the project, it demonstrates the confidence, bravery, creativity, intelligence, innovation, experience, and non-perfectionism and non-hastiness of Vietnam Electricity Group.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also pointed out the experience from implementing the project, which is to know how to promote the strength of national solidarity, mobilize the strength of the entire political system. The leadership of the Party, the organization and implementation of authorities at all levels, the participation of political organizations and people; timely removal of institutional and regulatory problems of ministries and branches; determination to act, work with focus, key points, assign "5 clear tasks", regularly urge and inspect... The project was implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and without price increases...

The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam's goal is to achieve "double-digit" economic growth. To meet this goal, electricity growth must be 1.5 times higher than this target. This is difficult, but Vietnam Electricity must do it. The electricity group needs to have breakthrough works, century projects, projects that change the situation, change the state related to energy, and definitely not let there be a shortage of electricity...

Regarding institutional difficulties and problems, the group needs to promptly report to the Government and state management agencies to find solutions, develop incentive policies, and mobilize resources. The upcoming work is heavy, the electricity industry has breakthrough developments, applying science and technology, artificial intelligence to develop the electricity industry to its full potential, it is necessary to immediately establish a data center for the electricity industry, have smart intelligence in the electricity industry...

The 500 kV line 3 project from Quang Binh to Pho Noi passes through 9 provinces: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong and Hung Yen. The project has a total land acquisition area of ​​about 183 hectares, 5,248 households and 96 organizations are affected, 167 households must be relocated. By March 8, the handover of 1,177/1,177 foundation locations was completed, and on June 17, 2024, the line corridor for 513/513 anchorage spaces was completed.
