This morning, October 4, athletes Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi My, Tran Thi Hong Nhung, Nguyen Thi Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen and Le Thi Tu Trinh of the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team participated in the final of the 4-women Sepak Takraw event against Indonesia. Before the gold medal match, the Vietnamese women's Sepak Takraw team defeated Myanmar, Japan and Indonesia in the group stage, then easily defeated the host China in the semi-finals.
In the first game, Indonesia quickly took the lead and continuously forced the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team to chase the score. Despite their best efforts, the Vietnamese girls unfortunately lost this game with a score of 18-21.
In the second game, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team regained their confidence and continuously led Indonesia. At the end of this game, coach Tran Thi Vui's students won with a score of 21-18.
In the decisive match, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team continued to play excellently to win with a score of 21-14. In the end, the Vietnamese girls won with a score of 2-1 in the final of the 4-women sepak takraw event.
