US President-elect Donald Trump's new cabinet is expected to bring together prominent faces with absolute loyalty and proven capabilities.

According to CNN on November 12, although the unpredictable personality of US President-elect Trump makes all personnel choices uncertain, the names mentioned for the new cabinet all have one outstanding thing in common: absolute loyalty to Mr. Trump.

Especially in the aftermath of his first, much-criticized presidency, the nominees have been known to show extraordinary deference to Mr. Trump in television interviews, a lesson learned from the previous administration, when officials like former FBI Director James Comey made Mr. Trump feel “betrayed” because they put their oath to the Constitution above their loyalty to him.

It is clear that Mr. Trump's ongoing process of announcing his personnel choices is more organized than in 2016, thanks in large part to the role of Ms. Susie Wiles, who was nominated as White House chief of staff after running an effective election campaign.

The list of new cabinet members includes names such as Senator Marco Rubio (nominated as US Secretary of State), New York Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (chosen as US Ambassador to the United Nations), Florida Congressman Michael Waltz (chosen as National Security Advisor), former Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Tom Homan... Each person represents an aspect of Mr. Trump's political ideology and reflects his desire to change US policy after the election, which has attracted tens of millions of voters to support him.

Notably, most of the candidates have impressive credentials. For example, former presidential candidate Marco Rubio is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees. Elise Stefanik, a Harvard graduate, was an aide to former President George W. Bush and is one of the highest-ranking female Republicans in the House. Michael Waltz has combat experience in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa, while Tom Homan has expertise in border issues.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House communications director under Trump and now a CNN commentator, said the picks are “definitely qualified” for their positions. She also pointed out the clear difference in the pace and manner of personnel selection this time compared to Trump’s first term.
