According to initial information, at around 2:27 a.m. on November 4, Cau Giay District Police (Hanoi) received a report from the Hanoi City Police Command Center that a fire broke out at house number 3H1, lane 20, Tran Kim Xuyen street, Yen Hoa ward.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police dispatched 2 fire trucks with 14 officers and soldiers in coordination with the Fire Fighting Team of Area 2 dispatching 1 rescue vehicle and 1 ladder truck to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue the victims.

When the task force arrived, the fire had engulfed the first floor of the solidly built 5-story concrete house. The scouts noticed that there were 2 people trapped, so they quickly approached from all directions to search for and rescue them, brought the victims to safety, and extinguished the fire about 10 minutes later.
It is known that the owner of the house is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc H. At the time of the fire, everyone was sleeping, but when they heard an unusual noise, everyone woke up and ran downstairs to see the fire.

The house has a total construction area of ​​about 110m2 per floor, with a scale of 5 floors above ground with a reinforced concrete structure. The fire area has an area of ​​about 10m2 and is a storage area on the 1st floor. State management classification of fire prevention and fighting for the area where the fire occurred: the facility is in Appendix IV of Decree No. 50/2024/ND-CP managed by the Ward People's Committee. The authorities are coordinating to investigate the cause of the fire.
