The Red River Delta Tourism Association Cluster gives 100 million VND to people affected by natural disasters in Son La

The delegation of the Tourism Association of the provinces of the Red River Delta presented: 80 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province; 10 million VND to Tien Doan Trading Company Limited in Son La city (damaged nearly 20 billion VND in heavy rains); 10 million VND in cash, 200 kg of rice, 20 boxes of instant noodles and filtered water to ethnic minority households in Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district.

According to statistics from the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Son La province, in July, floods in this locality killed 11 people, injured 6 people; damaged over 2,670 houses; affected 29 schools; flooded 4,143 hectares of winter-spring rice fields; flooded 548 hectares of crops and vegetables; killed over 500 livestock; and swept away 12,290 poultry.
