At the first working session of the 17th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, delegates voted to unify the list of 85 members of the new Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
On the afternoon of August 1, at the Xu Dong Cultural Center (Hai Duong City), the 17th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, held its first working session.

According to the personnel plan proposed by the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the number of members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 17th term, 2024-2029, is 95 people, an increase of 8 people compared to the 2019-2024 term and the largest in the past 16 congresses. The congress has consulted to elect 85 members, the remaining 10 members will be consulted to supplement at the appropriate time.
The delegates unanimously voted once on the entire list of 85 delegates participating in the consultation to elect members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XVII, 2024-2029. As a result, all the delegates officially attending the congress unanimously introduced 85 members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XVII, 2024-2029 according to the personnel plan.
At the end of the first working day, the new Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the first conference to consult and elect positions in the Standing Committee.
On the same morning, leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Buddhist Sangha, heads of delegations of member organizations and 12 districts, towns and cities visited the Martyrs' Memorial of Hai Duong City.
