Gia Loc police successfully persuaded 2 wanted subjects to surrender.

Nguyen Van Toan was wanted by the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Loc District Police on December 12 for harboring illegal use of drugs.

On the evening of November 13, Toan let a group of guests rent a room at the Thuong Son karaoke bar in An Ve village, Duc Xuong commune (Gia Loc) that Toan was running and managing to illegally use drugs. After learning that the police had discovered him, Toan fled.

Toan has been administratively punished twice by Gia Loc District Police for gambling and illegal possession of drugs.

After issuing the wanted notice, the Gia Loc District Police Investigation Agency verified that Toan was hiding in many places such as: Hanoi, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, Dak Lak. The unit worked with Toan's family and relatives to persuade him to surrender. At 8:00 a.m. on December 18, Toan came to Gia Loc District Police to surrender and admitted all his crimes.

Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on December 16, Vu Hoang Trung, a subject wanted by the Gia Loc District Police Investigation Agency for theft, also surrendered.

On the morning of February 7, Trung stole an OPPO mobile phone, a Honda Wave motorbike, a Honda helmet, and a men's life jacket from the home of Vu Van Thanh, born in 2001, in Gia Khanh commune (Gia Loc). The total value of the property Trung appropriated was more than 19 million VND. Trung has 2 previous convictions and 1 previous conviction for theft.
