FPT University announced the 2025 admission score due to a strange scoring method.
FPT University announced the admission benchmark scores for 2025 through the launch of the SchoolRank 2025 high school student ranking tool.
This tool helps 12th graders look up their national rankings. Students access and enter their grade 11 and 12th grade semester 1 scores in their transcripts to look up their rankings.
Once the score entry is completed, the system will classify students into groups of top50, top40, top30, top20 and top10 (respectively belonging to 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% of students with the best high school academic results nationwide) or outside the top50 according to the candidates' academic results.
Candidates who achieve rankings from top 50 to top 10 will receive a ranking certificate via email, along with a profile code to ensure validity when used.
The benchmark for admission to FPT University in 2025 is that candidates need to reach the top 50 SchoolRank, which means being in the top 50% of students with the highest high school academic results nationwide and achieving a total score of 21 points or higher in math and 2 other subjects in semester 2 of grade 12.
Mr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the Board of FPT University, said that every year, the national education system records over 500,000 new university applicants. About half of them refer to their rankings on SchoolRank.
