Focus on forecasting, grasping and resolving complicated cases early.

On the morning of October 14, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee held a conference to review internal affairs, judicial reform, anti-corruption and negativity work in the first 9 months of the year and key tasks for the last 3 months of 2024.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, attended and chaired the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of internal affairs, judicial reform, and anti-corruption and negativity work of the province in the first 9 months of 2024.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to absorb the opinions of the delegates at the conference and the opinions at the meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity in the morning of the same day to complete the report fully, clearly, assigning tasks and duties associated with the responsibilities of leaders at all levels and sectors when performing the work.

Leaders at all levels and sectors should base on the directions, tasks and solutions set out by the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to effectively implement them. In particular, it is necessary to continue to pay attention to forecasting, grasping and resolving cases showing signs of complexity early and from afar, to prevent the formation of hot spots and complications.

Local leaders should pay more attention to the fight against corruption and negativity in the area. This is an important task contributing to the successful organization of the Party Congresses at all levels in the coming term.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, and the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform to lead and direct Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially judicial agencies, to thoroughly and strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on judicial reform and anti-corruption and negativity.

During the same period, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee received and handled 837 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections in accordance with regulations; the district level received 1,434 petitions, the commune level received 930 petitions; internal affairs agencies received 6,461 complaints, denunciations and recommendations.

The provincial People's Procuracy at two levels effectively implemented the right to prosecute and control judicial activities, with many targets exceeding those assigned by the National Assembly.
