Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau hopes that Xuan Duong residential area will have no more poor households.

On the afternoon of November 16, Xuan Duong residential area, Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city) organized the National Great Unity Day.

Attending and sharing the joy with cadres, party members and people of Xuan Duong residential area were comrades: Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; Luu Van Ban, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and many leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Speaking at the festival, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau affirmed that the National Great Unity Day held in villages and residential areas is a meaningful activity attracting a large number of people to participate. The festival has become a beautiful tradition and a great festival of the whole nation, helping to unite the community. At the same time, it contributes to consolidating and promoting the people's right to mastery, enhancing the great national unity bloc in the new period. This is also an opportunity to foster and encourage all classes of people to enthusiastically compete, successfully carry out political tasks and socio-economic development targets of the locality.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngoc Chau province acknowledged the results that the cadres and people of Xuan Duong residential area have achieved in the past time. In recent years, the cadres and people of the area have always been exemplary, leading, and enthusiastic in implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, mobilizing people to unite in building and complying with the conventions of the residential area; implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, self-management models, cultural and artistic movements... of the locality. In particular, mobilizing people to actively hand over land to implement key projects of the province such as expanding Vu Cong Dan street, contributing to the overall results of socio-economic development of the province and the city.

To further promote the achieved results, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the cadres and people of Xuan Duong residential area continue to unite, promote the national tradition, successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels. Especially, promote the strength of the great national solidarity bloc to build a united, prosperous and happy residential area.

Continue to unite and help each other develop production, expand industries to develop the economy, prevent social evils; build healthy facilities and residential areas. Strictly comply with the policies, laws of the Party and State, local regulations, and regional conventions. Constantly improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people, ensuring that people's lives are prosperous and happy.

Currently, Xuan Duong residential area is one of the villages and residential areas with the lowest number of poor and near-poor households in the province. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau hopes that by 2025, Xuan Duong will strive to have no more poor and near-poor households so that next year's National Great Unity Day will be filled with joy.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Residential Area Front Work Committee should be more proactive and active in advising on the implementation of campaigns in the area, so that people can further promote their ownership rights, their role in community supervision, self-management activities as well as actively participate in building a clean and strong Party and government. He expressed his confidence in the results achieved, the cadres and people of Xuan Duong residential area will successfully carry out the assigned tasks, contributing to the development of Hai Duong city to become more civilized and prosperous.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau presented 5 gifts to poor and near-poor households in Xuan Duong residential area.

At the festival, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to the Xuan Duong Residential Area Front Working Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; and awarded certificates of "Exemplary grandparents and parents, loyal children and filial grandchildren" to 2 families.
