Nam Sach district has paid 77.5 billion VND in compensation and support for site clearance to build Kenh Vang bridge and access roads for households.
On December 26, the Compensation Council for Site Clearance Support of Nam Sach district coordinated with the People's Committees of Quoc Tuan and Hop Tien communes and related units to pay compensation and support site clearance for households and individuals whose land and assets on land are included in the planning for the construction project of Kenh Vang bridge and access roads.
Accordingly, the council has paid compensation to support land clearance for 202 households in Hop Tien commune; 72 households in Quoc Tuan commune with a total amount of over 77.5 billion VND. Currently, the council is completing procedures to pay to households in Hiep Cat commune.
The Project to invest in the construction of the Golden Canal Bridge and the connecting road connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong is a level II road traffic project with a total investment of nearly 2,200 billion VND. The construction site is in Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts (Bac Ninh) and Nam Sach district (Hai Duong).
To serve the project of the Golden Canal Bridge and the approach road, Nam Sach district reclaimed nearly 27.6 hectares. Of which, Hiep Cat commune reclaimed 7.2 hectares, Hop Tien commune over 13.5 hectares, and Quoc Tuan commune over 6.8 hectares.
