On the morning of June 26, Mr. Nguyen Trong Uy, Vice Chairman of Minh Tan Ward People's Committee (Kinh Mon, Hai Duong) said that a baby was abandoned in the ward.
At around 5:30 p.m. on June 25, Ms. Pham Thi Huyen at 119 Hoang Thach Street, Bich Nhoi 2 Residential Area, Minh Tan Ward (Kinh Mon) discovered an abandoned baby girl, wrapped in a towel and placed in a styrofoam box. There were no other belongings or documents.
Ms. Huyen's family took care of the baby and notified the Minh Tan ward authorities.
The baby girl is about 10 days old, weighs 2.7 kg, is in stable health, and has no disabilities. She was temporarily raised by Ms. Huyen's family.
Minh Tan Ward has announced to find relatives for the child and provided the phone number 0376754942 of the representative of the Town People's Committee for contact. Within 60 days from the date of announcement, if no relatives come to receive the child, the authorities will handle the matter according to the provisions of law.
