A baby boy with his umbilical cord still attached was abandoned at a dike guard post in Cam Dong village, Tuan Viet commune, Kim Thanh (Hai Duong).
At 1:20 p.m. on November 29, local people discovered an abandoned newborn baby at the dike guard post in Cam Dong village (right bank of Kinh Mon river), Tuan Viet commune. Upon receiving the report from the people, Tuan Viet commune police coordinated to take the baby to Tuan Viet commune health station for first aid and initial health check. The baby boy had no deformities; weighed 3.8 kg, had the umbilical cord intact, and was placed in a cardboard box; had no clothes or property. The baby's health is currently stable. Tuan Viet commune temporarily handed over the baby to the commune health station for care.
It is known that at the above dike guard station area, in early 2022, a newborn baby was also abandoned.
