Hai Duong Blind Association at all levels earns nearly 36.4 billion VND from toothpick and massage production

The implementation of Directive No. 39/CT-TW in Hai Duong has achieved many practical results. In 5 years, the Provincial Association has admitted 454 members, bringing the total number of members to 3,088, including 1,788 female members (accounting for nearly 58%).

The provincial association is managing 15 massage service points, creating jobs for 162 blind workers, with an income of 3.5-4 million VND/person/month. Over the past 5 years, the association at all levels has produced and consumed more than 4 million toothpick packs and more than 198,000 massage customers, 22,284 cupping customers, achieving revenue of nearly 36.4 billion VND.

The provincial association has coordinated to open classes to teach massage, acupuncture, spinal decompression, and vocational training; organized competitions to improve skills for members. Associations at all levels have actively taken good care of the lives of members and blind children on holidays and Tet; and improved the cultural and spiritual life of blind people...

On this occasion, the Provincial Blind Association organized the 4th Massage and Acupuncture Skills Competition in 2024 with 20 contestants from district-level associations.
