Prohibited, cars still turn left or make a U-turn at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Lien Hong - Thach Khoi inter-commune road

The situation of cars making U-turns or turning left is common at the intersection of green lights, red lights, Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Lien Hong - Thach Khoi inter-commune road (Hai Duong City) despite the prohibition signs.

The reason is that the road is wide, has many lanes but the signs prohibiting U-turns and left turns are placed quite far away and out of sight. Some cars run red lights, deliberately turn left or turn around when there are many vehicles going from Thach Khoi to Lien Hong or vice versa, the road is narrow and causes traffic chaos, especially around 4-5 pm. At some times when there are many vehicles, there have been collisions and arguments between traffic participants when vehicles turn U-turns or turn left in the wrong direction, obstructing but determined not to back up and go the right way.
