Hai Duong traffic is crowded on the last working day before the 2024 Tet holiday

On February 7 (ie the 28th day of the Lunar New Year), the last working day of the Year of the Cat before people take a break for the 2024 Lunar New Year, many roads, bus stops, and train stations in Hai Duong were more crowded than usual.

The number of people and vehicles participating in traffic on Ho Chi Minh Boulevard (Hai Duong City) on the morning of February 7 was higher than usual.

From 9am, on inner-city roads in Hai Duong city and some gateways into the city, the number of vehicles participating in traffic increased sharply compared to normal days.

At the bus stop area, many people with luggage and belongings are waiting for the bus. At the intersections, red light areas, the traffic flow is more crowded.

In the afternoon, the weather was drizzly, and there were fewer people on the road than in the morning.

At Hai Duong and Hai Tan bus stations, the number of people entering and leaving the stations has increased compared to normal days. The stations have decorated and cleaned the stations, and arranged seats to serve passengers.

At Hai Duong station, on February 7, a total of about 1,500 passengers were received from other stations to Hai Duong station and from Hai Duong station to other stations. Compared to normal days, the number of passengers arriving at Hai Duong station increased 6-7 times.

At Hai Duong station, on February 7, a total of about 1,500 passengers were welcomed.

On February 7 and 8, in addition to the fixed trains, there will be an additional LP9 train departing from Hanoi station at 7:15 am to Hai Phong station at 10:07 am, picking up passengers at Long Bien, Gia Lam, Cam Giang, Hai Duong, Phu Thai and Thuong Ly stations.

At the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection on National Highway 38B in Gia Loc district, from 6:00 p.m. on February 6 to 7:00 a.m. on February 7, about 6,000 vehicles entered and exited the expressway. Of these, 2,500 vehicles entered the expressway; 3,500 vehicles exited the expressway, double the normal number. On February 6 alone, 11,000 vehicles entered and exited the expressway. At times, the number of vehicles increased, and vehicles moved slowly at the intersection.

At the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection on National Highway 38B in Gia Loc district on February 6, the number of vehicles entering and exiting the expressway was 11,000.

At the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection on Provincial Road 392, Binh Giang District, the traffic volume on February 6 was 4,075 vehicles (including 1,400 vehicles entering the expressway and 2,675 vehicles exiting the expressway), an increase of about 1.7 times compared to February 5.

Putting the expressway interchange in Binh Giang into use has contributed to reducing traffic pressure at the expressway interchange in Gia Loc district.
