Hai Duong City upgrades lighting system on Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Truong Chinh Street

Hai Duong City proposes upgrading the lighting system of Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Truong Chinh Street.

The Provincial People's Committee has just agreed on the necessity of investing in upgrading the lighting system of Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Truong Chinh Street according to the proposal of the Hai Duong City People's Committee and the appraisal of the Department of Planning and Investment to create an architectural highlight and urban landscape at the southwestern gateway of the city.

According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong City, the lighting system for the above routes is invested simply, including 12-meter-high octagonal lamp posts using high-pressure lamps with a capacity of 250-400W. Some have been replaced with LED lamps with a capacity of 150-200W. The city proposed to dismantle and replace 595 octagonal lamp posts. Design and invest in the construction of an artistic lighting system to replace the existing garden lighting system on the median strip. The total estimated investment is about 50 billion VND.

The Department of Planning and Investment requested Hai Duong City to review and evaluate the current status of the lighting system to develop a suitable investment and upgrade plan to avoid waste.
