The police have just arrested a suspect in the murder of a girl at Thu Duc wholesale market, Ho Chi Minh City. Initially, this person confessed that due to debt, when returning to the parking lot at the market, a conflict arose, leading to the murder.
On October 1, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Thu Duc City Police, Ho Chi Minh City said that they had just arrested a suspect in the murder of a girl at Thu Duc wholesale market at noon on September 30.
The suspect is a woman and has stated that the motive for the crime was murder and robbery. Thu Duc City Police are currently working with Ho Chi Minh City Police to take statements and clarify the murder case.
The victim was HTTT (26 years old, from Long An).
Earlier, at noon on September 30, some tractor-trailer drivers were returning from lunch at the Thu Duc Agricultural Wholesale Market (located in Tam Binh Ward) when they suddenly discovered a girl lying in a pool of blood. Upon receiving the report, local police arrived to take the victim to the emergency room, but the girl had already died.
Police cordoned off the scene for examination and investigation. Several witnesses and surrounding camera footage showed a woman carrying the victim on a motorbike to the scene.
This person wrestled the victim down and used a weapon to kill him, then left.
By professional measures, by the evening of the same day, the police force arrested the suspect.
Initially, the suspect was identified as Nguyen Thi Dung. Regarding the cause of the crime, Dung stated that T. had debts, so they arranged to meet at noon on September 30 to talk. After that, Dung drove T. to the parking lot, where an argument arose, leading to a fight. Dung used a knife to attack and kill T., then took her money, jewelry, and phone.
