Police forces in Thanh Hoa province have coordinated to arrest Nguyen Phu Quang, who is suspected of murdering his 4-year-old son.
Information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that professional units coordinated with Tho Xuan District Police to arrest the suspect who murdered his son.
Specifically, at noon on February 4, the police and local authorities arrested suspect Nguyen Phu Quang (born in 1993, residing in village 4, Xuan Giang commune). Immediately afterwards, the suspect was transferred to the police headquarters for investigation and clarification of the case.
Previously, at around 5:00 a.m. the same day, local authorities received information that Nguyen Phu Quang had murdered his biological son, NPQD (born in 2021) at his home and then fled.
Immediately afterwards, the authorities began investigating, searching for and arresting the suspect. It is known that the suspect is mentally ill and is receiving social welfare benefits.
