Porsche 911 is a sports car that has been favored by many tycoons in Vietnam in the past 5 years thanks to its eye-catching design and impressive performance. However, some people who are willing to spend more can spend tens of billions of VND to own high-performance versions such as 911 Turbo S, 911 GT3 or limited edition 911 Sport Classic (1,250 units), 911 Dakar (2,500 units).

This Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design is a special edition, with limited production worldwide. According to VietNamNet's research, the car is currently owned by a tycoon in Hanoi after changing owners in 2023. In addition to the car in the article, there is currently another 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design owned by a tycoon in Hanoi.

Both cars are officially imported, with a starting price of 11.6 billion VND. At the time of listing, the convertible sports car was estimated to be worth more than 16 billion VND. This price is still cheaper than the Sport Classic version owned by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, Chairman of Trung Nguyen Coffee Group and businessman Cuong Do-la, with a rolling price of over 20 billion VND.

Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design was launched globally in June 2020, a special edition developed on the new generation 911 Targa (codename 992) but inspired by cars from the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. This model "opens" the Heritage Design product line of the German sports car brand, with only 992 units produced worldwide.

The exterior of the car stands out thanks to the dark red paint called Cherry Metallic - a popular exterior color in the 50s. The white decals on the body with the Porsche lettering and the circle with the number 89 contribute to the highlight of the convertible sports car. These are also the last 2 digits of the car's serial number "789", out of a total of 992 cars produced.

The signature of this 911 is also found in the “Targa” badge on the B-pillar, the lettering “Porsche” and “911 Targa 4S” on the yellow-painted rear end. These details are all crafted by the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur personalization department.

Inspired by the car designs of the 50s and 60s, the German automaker equipped the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design with exclusive Carrera Exclusive Design 5-spoke milled wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Hidden inside are black brake calipers.

A “Porsche Heritage” badge is placed on the rear engine cover, marking this version in the Prancing Horse brand’s special product range. This design is similar to the badge that was awarded to the driver of the Porsche 365 after reaching the 100,000 km mark.

The Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder boxer engine. This machine produces a maximum capacity of 444 horsepower and a maximum torque of 530 Nm, with a four-wheel drive system and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds (when using Launch Control). The maximum speed is 304 km/h.
