The Ferrari 12Cilindri supercar just launched to the world has "caught the eye" of Cuong Do La

After stopping production of the 812 Superfast - the supercar recently purchased by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, on May 3, Ferrari launched globally a new supercar to replace it, called 12Cilindri (in Italian, roughly translated as 12 cylinders). There are two main versions: hardtop (Coupe) and convertible (Spider).

Notably, right after a Ferrari Vietnam employee posted information about the Ferrari 12Cilindri supercar on his personal page, businessman Nguyen Quoc Cuong (known as Cuong Do La) secretly "placed an order" through the comment "ok 1 nhé".

In response, Ferrari Vietnam's staff thanked Cuong Do La and revealed that Vietnam had 2 orders for this new supercar. At the same time, this staff deleted the post after the message that he would contact this "big customer" privately.

As the name suggests, the Ferrari 12Cilindri is equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, 6.5 liters capacity similar to its "big brother" 812. This machine produces a maximum capacity of 819 horsepower and maximum torque of 678 Nm.

Notably, the maximum rotation speed from the V12 engine on the new supercar reaches 9,500 rpm, while on its "predecessor" 812 it is 8,500 rpm.

A key upgrade on this V12 engine is the use of titanium connecting rods, which reduce weight by 40% compared to steel connecting rods. In addition, Ferrari also uses a new aluminum alloy for the pistons to reduce weight.

Materials such as Formula 1 steel and DLC (Dynamic Carbon) used in this engine help reduce friction coefficient and improve the mechanical efficiency of the engine. The new engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Ferrari says the 12Cilindri Coupe can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, from 0-200 km/h in 7.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h.

The Spider version is slightly slower, needing only 2.95 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h and 8.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-200 km/h. The dry weight of the Coupe version is only 1,560 kg, while the Spider weighs 1,620 kg due to the electric motor-powered roof opening/closing mechanism.

The 12Cilindri has a different design compared to other models from the Ferrari supercar family. The front of the car is similar to the Daytona model. The body is also neater and simpler instead of muscular and sinewy like the 812 Superfast model.

The rear of the car is inspired by the Ferrari Roma, but the diffuser is larger and uses a square dual exhaust system. Above is a spoiler similar to the 812 Competizione model.

In addition, the Italian Prancing Horse brand also uses aerodynamic enhancements at the rear of the car, which can operate when the car is moving at speeds from 60 to 300 km/h to increase downforce on the road surface.

The biggest change of the 12Cilindri compared to its "senior" 812 Superfast is the interior space that combines modernity and sportiness, in the style of the Ferrari Purosangue super SUV. The car is equipped with a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen, behind the steering wheel is a 15.6-inch multi-information screen.

The passenger side dashboard has an optional 8.8-inch screen. The buttons have been changed to touch-sensitive like the SF90 or 296. Customers have the option of a high-end Burmester 15-speaker sound system.

The four-wheel independent steering system is also equipped on the Ferrari 12Cilindri, just like the 812 Competizione. Customers have the choice of two tires: Michelin Pilot Sport S5 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport, both specially developed for this supercar.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri Coupe will start at 395,000 Euros (equivalent to about 10.78 billion VND) in the Italian market, while the Spider version is higher at 435,000 Euros (equivalent to about 11.88 billion VND). If brought to Vietnam, it is estimated that this supercar will cost no less than 40 billion VND after paying all taxes and fees.
