At 9:00 a.m. this morning, Hai Duong Newspaper broadcast online the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

This morning, December 20, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense solemnly organized the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944/ December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989/ December 22, 2024).

The ceremony was held at the National Convention Center (Hanoi).

Attending the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and army, veteran revolutionaries, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and army generals of all periods...

The ceremony will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and National Defense Television. The highlight of the ceremony will be an epic art program lasting more than 30 minutes, including special music and dance performances, summarizing the entire history of the army's birth, battles and victories, as well as affirming the great role of the Vietnam People's Army in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Before the ceremony, a delegation of leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and military visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and commemorated the heroic martyrs.
