There are still 6 households that have not voluntarily dismantled the illegal constructions in front of the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant. If the households do not voluntarily dismantle, the People's Committee of Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong) will take coercive steps according to the law.
On November 27, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Vice Chairman of Kinh Mon Town People's Committee, said that there are still 6 households that have not voluntarily dismantled illegal land constructions in front of the gate of Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant.
The violating area of the above 6 households is 1,120.9 m², including 1 solid 2-storey house, the rest are temporary level 4 houses.
Previously, Kinh Mon Town People's Committee identified 28 units and individuals encroaching and illegally changing the purpose of use of more than 10,013 m2.2Land in the gate area of Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant to build kiosks, sheds, and lodging rooms. The largest construction is nearly 2,000 m², the smallest is 24 m².
As of November 27, 13 organizations and individuals had voluntarily dismantled illegal constructions with an area of over 7,064 m2.2; 9 individuals signed a commitment to voluntarily dismantle more than 1,828 m2construction violations before November 30.

The recovered area due to the impact of the project at the gate of Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant is about 23,000 m2, mainly agricultural land managed by Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee and non-agricultural land.
At the same time, some organizations and individuals illegally encroached on land and changed land use purposes in the above-mentioned area.
The People's Committee of Phuc Thanh Commune (now Quang Thanh Commune) has drawn up records and imposed administrative penalties on a number of cases. The People's Committee of Kinh Mon Town has issued many documents directing and urging.
