Five households in Thanh Cuong commune (Thanh Ha, Hai Duong) have voluntarily dismantled illegal constructions on agricultural land after being actively propagated and mobilized by the commune government.

Four households in Thanh Cuong commune, including the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Phe (in Vinh Xa village), Mr. Le Duc Tu (in Thanh Thinh village), Mr. Le Dinh Thang and Mrs. Le Thi Thap (both in Vinh Binh village), have organized to dismantle the illegal construction of houses on agricultural land with a total clearance area of ​​over 386 m2.2 on October 10. Thanh Cuong commune currently has 14 households violating construction on agricultural land, the most in Thanh Ha district. The commune People's Committee has actively promoted and mobilized households to dismantle on their own. Thanh Cuong commune People's Committee has issued a decision to administratively sanction the households. Up to now, there is 1 case of violation that has not been dismantled under the authority of the district to handle, the commune will continue to promote and mobilize the remaining 8 households to dismantle on their own. If they do not comply, the commune will organize enforcement, expected to be completed in October 2024.

Thanh Ha district has 34 cases of construction violating agricultural land, and by October 11, 15 violations had been resolved. It is expected that the district will complete the clearance of violations by the end of October.

Previously in August, the Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee requested specialized agencies and leaders of communes and towns to strengthen state management of land. The Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and towns are responsible for inspecting, preparing records and promptly and thoroughly handling violations in the management area. Local leaders who allow violations of land management and use in the area to occur without promptly preventing and handling them will be criticized, reviewed and disciplined according to regulations.
