2 department heads and 1 deputy department head in Binh Giang (Hai Duong) have applied for early retirement to reorganize and streamline the apparatus.
According to the Binh Giang District Department of Internal Affairs, as of January 4, 3 department-level leaders in the district have requested early retirement to streamline the apparatus.
That is Mr. Tran Minh Thai (born in 1969), Head of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Mr. Thai has a PhD in educational management, has more than 30 years of experience in the field of education, and more than 1 year working in the field of labor, war invalids and social affairs.
Mr. Vu Huy Cuong (born in 1969), Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Mr. Cuong has nearly 20 years of leadership and management experience at the People's Committee of Tan Hong commune. Mr. Cuong was transferred to work at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the district, and was appointed to the position of Head of the Department, with a term of office of 5 years from October 1, 2024.
Mr. Luong Van Cuong (born in 1966), Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Previously, on June 19, 2024, the People's Committee of Binh Giang district issued a decision to transfer Mr. Luong Van Cuong, Deputy Head of the District Economic-Infrastructure Department to work at the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and appointed him to the position of Deputy Head of the Department from June 20, 2024 until reaching the retirement age according to regulations.
All three individuals mentioned above wish to apply for retirement benefits according to Decree 178/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government from February 1, 2025.
Previously, Binh Giang district had developed a project to arrange and merge district-level agencies and units according to the direction of the Central and the province.
