Handling alcohol concentration violations "throughout the night, through Tet", 105 cases were punished in Hai Duong on the 1st and 2nd

On February 10 and 11 (the first and second days of the Lunar New Year 2024), Hai Duong had 105 cases of alcohol concentration violations being punished.

Traffic police forces across the province focus on strictly handling violations that are the main cause of traffic accidents.

On February 10 and 11, the provincial traffic police handled 166 cases of traffic safety violations, fined more than VND677 million, revoked 67 driving licenses, and detained 105 vehicles.

Of which, 105 cases violated alcohol concentration, 8 cases violated speed, 55 cases did not wear helmets...

To ensure traffic order and safety during the Tet holidays and the people's spring activities, the traffic police force in the whole province focuses on strictly handling violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents. Strengthening patrols, drastically controlling, and resolutely handling violations of alcohol concentration according to the motto of 2 "through the night - through Tet", 3 "no forbidden areas - no exceptions - no holidays"...

* The Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee has just decided to administratively sanction Mr. YI LICHAO (Chinese nationality), working at Dai Bao Thai Sam Company Limited (Tu Minh ward, Hai Duong city).

At about 8:45 p.m. on January 27, on Ngo Quyen Street (Hai Duong City), Mr. YI LICHAO drove a car 34A-560.44 with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath. Mr. YI LICHAO's driver's license had expired.

Mr. YI LICHAO was fined a total of 23 million VND for the above two violations.
