In the first half of February 8 (December 29), the first day of the 2024 Tet holiday, Hai Duong province had 26 cases of alcohol concentration violations being punished.
During the first half day of the Lunar New Year holiday from 0:00 on February 8, 2024 to 11:00 on February 8, 2024, the traffic police force in the whole province detected and handled 92 cases of violations of traffic order and safety, fined 277.8 million VND, revoked 45 driving licenses, and temporarily detained 29 vehicles. Of which, 26 cases violated alcohol concentration; 39 cases violated speed; 27 cases violated not wearing helmets; 12 cases did not bring driving licenses...
During this time, there were 2 traffic accidents in the province, killing 1 person and injuring 1 person. One of them happened on the evening of February 7 in Lai Cach town (Cam Giang) and killed 1 person. The victim was Mr. V.D.N., born in 1976 in Quy Duong village, Tan Truong commune (Cam Giang).
