Handling 15 subjects "passing the checkpoint" to check alcohol concentration in Thanh Ha

On February 2, the People's Court of Thanh Ha district held a first-instance trial of the case of disturbing public order. The subjects Nguyen Duc Anh, born in 2005; Dang Viet Tien, born in 2007; Duong Van Hien, born in 2006 (all from Lien Mac commune, Thanh Ha) received a total of 72 months in prison.

Vu Duy Long, Vu The Anh and Nguyen Xuan Linh (all born in 2007, in Tan Viet commune); Tran Minh Quyen (born in 2007, in Thanh Son commune, Thanh Ha district); Do Hai Duong (born in 2007 in Thai Binh, residing in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Ha) received a total of 78 months in prison, suspended.

The subjects sent to reform school include: Tran Van Hoan (born in 2006) for 15 months; Doan Viet Anh (born in 2006, also in Thanh Son commune) for 15 months; Nguyen Duc Hoa (born in 2007) for 12 months; Nguyen Tran Van Nam (born in 2007, also in Tan Viet commune) for 15 months.

Trinh Xuan Hoang (born in 2003) and Nguyen Duc Hoang (born in 2005, both in Tan Viet commune) were each fined 25 million VND.

As for Hoang Gia Bao (born in 2007 in Cam Che commune), he was sentenced to 12 months of non-custodial reform.

At around 20:00 - 20:30 on October 16, 2023, the subjects: Duc Anh, Tien, Hien, Long, The Anh, Quyen incited and together with Duong, Hoan, Viet Anh, Hoa, Nam, Xuan Hoang, Duc Hoang, Linh gathered in a group, riding motorbikes at high speed, weaving, swerving, revving, and revving their engines, passing through the road from the gas station area of ​​Thanh Xa commune to the Alex coffee shop in Thanh Khe commune (Thanh Ha), through the alcohol concentration inspection checkpoint of 2 working groups of the traffic police force. The above behavior of the subjects caused confusion and fear among the people.

While disturbing public order, Tien asked Hoang Gia Bao to approach the traffic police checkpoint on duty, using his phone to record images to post on social media.
