Taking advantage of the retreat of Mr. Thich Minh Tue (Gia Lai), many land brokers have posted information about the sudden increase in land prices here. However, according to verification from local authorities, this is rumored and false information.

After Mr. Le Anh Tu (born in 1983, commonly known as Thich Minh Tue) went into seclusion in village 6, Ia To commune, Ia Grai district (Gia Lai province), along both sides of the road to Mr. Thich Minh Tue's house, business and trading services sprung up.

Taking advantage of the large number of people coming here, many land brokers have posted information about the "skyrocketing" land prices here. A social networking site posted information that "land brokers shared that the land price near Mr. Minh Tue's house suddenly increased dramatically and many people came here to buy. Initially, the land value was 40 - 50 million VND/m2, now it has increased to 170 million VND/m2. There was a plot that was priced from 14 billion VND, now it has reached 27 billion VND".

Information about the sudden increase in land prices near Mr. Thich Minh Tue's house is a rumor and false.

According to this website, the truth is not yet clear, but the area where Mr. Thich Minh Tue's parents live is crowded every day.

Mr. P.D.H. (55 years old, residing in village 6, Ia To commune) shared that recently, some people from other localities came here to ask to buy land. They offered to pay for a piece of land with 12m frontage adjacent to the house of Mr. Thich Minh Tue's parents but only deposited 300 million VND so the family did not agree.

According to Mr. P.D.H., if local people have money, they will buy fields to do business and develop the economy, no one will buy land at sky-high prices.

The sudden increase in land prices is a false rumor.

Verifying the truth of the information about the high price of land near Mr. Thich Minh Tue's house, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia To commune (Ia Grai district) said that recently there was information that some brokers were inflating land prices but there were no sales transactions.

The news of a sudden increase in land prices is a false rumor, the commune chairman affirmed.

The leader of Ia To commune (Ia Grai district) said that land prices in village 6, Ia To commune have not fluctuated.

Mr. Hung said that the land price in village 6, Ia To commune is still normal, there is no fluctuation. The highest price for a hectare of garden with high economic value crops is 1 billion VND, and normally it is only 600-700 million VND. The price of residential land is about 30-35 million VND/m wide, only some small areas near the lake shore, near the house of Mr. Thich Minh Tue's parents are higher but still only about 50 million VND/m wide.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia To commune, land brokers keep hyping up the prices but no one is buying or selling. Because if there is a real transaction, the buyer and seller must go to the locality to make documents, authenticate the transaction contract, measure, apply a map to see if the location is correct, if there is an owner...

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung emphasized that the Commune People's Committee has not confirmed or signed any documents related to land in Village 6. The Commune has also reported to the district and departments to closely monitor all documents related to land in Village 6 and adjacent land of Ia Cham Coffee Company.

Mr. Hung said that it is their right for people to go to private notaries. However, after that, people must go to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Land Registration, and then coordinate with the Commune People's Committee to go to the site to measure, get opinions from the residential area, sign the boundary, and post it publicly according to the correct procedures.

According to the leader of Ia To commune, in principle, they have the right to buy and sell, the locality does not prohibit it. However, it is necessary to closely monitor data and information related to transactions (if any). Most of the people posting on social networks come from other places, only a few locals follow and listen.
