Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted received the excellent emulation flag from the Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of November 17, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding (1984-2024), the 60th anniversary of the specialized math block (1964-1984), and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982-November 20, 2024).

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, sent his best wishes to generations of teachers of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day, and at the same time praised the outstanding results the school has achieved over the past years.

He affirmed that in recent years, the education and training career of Hai Duong province has continuously developed and has achieved many admirable and proud achievements; the number of national excellent students and students admitted to universities and colleges is always among the top in the country. These achievements are thanks to the timely attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the efforts and striving of teachers and students in the whole province, including the important contributions of generations of teachers and students of the old specialized mathematics block and Nguyen Trai specialized high school today.

In order for the school to continue to fulfill its noble mission of training high-quality human resources for the province and the country, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the school to continue to promote the results and achievements achieved in recent years, focusing on successfully implementing the goals, tasks and strategies for educational development that have been set out. The school needs to continue to promote the emulation movements of "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning"; innovate teaching methods in sync with innovation in exams, tests and assessments; strengthen solutions to improve the quality of key points, early detect and nurture excellent and talented students, create conditions for students to demonstrate their personal capacity in learning and scientific research; strive to improve the quality of awards in national and international competitions.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the school to continue to pay attention and create conditions for teachers with good expertise to actively participate in the task of nurturing excellent students, while building a team of young, talented teachers. Actively coordinate to review and supplement the school's overall planning in accordance with the mission of being a high-quality educational and training institution of the province. At the same time, propose a roadmap for investment to complete technical infrastructure and supplement modern equipment to meet teaching and learning needs. In the immediate future, the 2024-2025 period will complete the construction of the Center for Nurturing Excellent Students.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes and requests that generations of former students of the school will continue to light, maintain and nurture the flame of the province's tradition of studiousness for the generations of students today and tomorrow. The students studying at the school continue to be determined to study and practice well to be worthy of being the generations that excellently continue the fine traditions of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted as well as the cultural traditions of the ancient Dong land, Hai Duong today.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted was honored to receive the excellent emulation flag from the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. The ceremony attracted many generations of teachers who have worked and are working at the school and former and current students of the school.

Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, formerly known as Hai Hung High School for the Gifted, was established in the period 1984-1994. Over the past 40 years, the school has always achieved the title of advanced labor collective and excellent labor collective. The school has been awarded many Labor Medals by the President; the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Hai Duong province have awarded many emulation flags and certificates of merit.

The school has 9 Excellent Teachers; 4 teachers were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 4 teachers were awarded the title of "National Emulation Fighter" by the Prime Minister; 8 teachers were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister.

The school has always placed Hai Duong province's national excellent student achievements in the top positions nationwide. Up to now, the school has 23 students winning regional and international medals, including 4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 9 bronze medals and 3 certificates of merit. 2,180 national excellent student awards, including 82 first prizes; 16 students won national science and technology awards, including 5 first prizes.
