The People's Council of Hai Duong province has just issued a Resolution regulating policies for managers, teachers of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted and experts participating in training teams of excellent students at the national, regional and international levels.

According to the resolution, students who win prizes in national, regional and international cultural competitions will receive the highest prize of 300 million VND/prize and the lowest prize of 10 million VND/prize. Living expenses will be supported with 800,000 VND/month for students with permanent residence in Hai Duong city and 1.5 million VND/month for students with permanent residence in other localities.
Teachers teaching specialized subjects of the school are supported with 500,000 VND/month. Support for teachers training national competition teams: teaching theory and practice 400,000 VND/lesson; laboratory and practice assistant 200,000 VND/lesson. Teaching and training students who have won national prizes to participate in regional and international competitions for excellent students: teaching theory and practice 500,000 VND/lesson; laboratory and practice assistant 250,000 VND/lesson.
Teachers who are given priority for recruitment according to the provisions of this Resolution and commit to teaching for 10 years or more at the school will receive a one-time support of 70 million VND, but will not enjoy other incentives from the province. If they do not fulfill their commitment, they must reimburse the funds already granted…
