Hanoi University of Pharmacy announces admission method in 2025

Hanoi University of Pharmacy plans to enroll 940 students in 2025 using four methods, including the first time using A-level scores.

Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quang, Head of Training Management Department, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, announced the above information on the afternoon of March 18. The above total quota includes the places for students of the Central Ethnic University Preparatory School.

The quota for each major is similar to last year. Of which, the pharmacy major has the largest enrollment of 760 students, including 30 places for the joint program with the University of Sydney, Australia.

Hanoi University of Pharmacy maintains 4 stable admission methods, including direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission combined with high school transcripts and SAT certificates, considering high school transcripts for specialized students or considering A-level certificates (higher general education certificates).of England); admission based on the thinking assessment test scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; and considering the high school graduation exam scores.

With SAT certificate, the condition is from 1,400/1,600 or higher for pharmacy, 1,350 for other majors.

This year, for the first time, Hanoi University of Pharmacy will consider candidates with A-level certificates. Candidates need to have results of 3 subjects according to the admission combination in each major reaching 80/100 points or higher, in which the chemistry subject must score at least 90/100.

For students majoring in math, physics, chemistry, biology,Admission score is the average score of each subject, plus converted priority points and incentive points.

In all of the above methods, candidates must have good academic performance for 3 years, with a score of 8 or higher for each subject in the admission combination in grades 10, 11, and 12.

The admission method based on the results of the thinking assessment test of Hanoi University of Science and Technology only applies to the pharmaceutical major. Students need to achieve above 7 points in math, physics, chemistry in 3 years of study. This condition also applies to the method of considering the results of the high school graduation exam in the pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical chemistry majors.

Candidates who are admitted to the Pharmacy program can apply for a joint training program with the University of Sydney, Australia, if they have an IELTS certificate of 6.5 or higher (no skill below 6) or equivalent.

In 2024, the benchmark score of Hanoi University of Pharmacy is from 24.26 to 25.51/30 points, the highest is pharmacy. Pharmaceutical chemistry takes 25.31 points, chemistry and biotechnology both above 24 points.
