A representative of the management unit of the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway toll station at the intersection of National Highway 38B in Hai Duong said that on August 1, most vehicles passing through the station had attached automatic non-stop toll collection (ETC) tags, so there was no congestion.
The unit has proactively arranged human resources to support vehicle owners with faulty cards or with more than one ETC account... to ensure smooth traffic. Currently, the number of vehicles entering and exiting the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway at the toll station at the intersection of National Highway 38B in Hai Duong is about 10,000 per day. Of these, very few vehicles are refused to use the ETC lane.
From June 1, the Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway has been piloting 100% automatic non-stop toll collection, 2 months earlier than other expressways. According to the Hanoi-Hai Duong Expressway Management and Operation One Member Co., Ltd., from June 1 to July 23, 2,483,229 vehicles passed through. The average number of vehicles per day/night was 46,853.
