Toyota is about to launch a cheap Land Cruiser model

In early 2023, Toyota launched the new Land Cruiser 250 Series, marking the official return of this rugged SUV to the US market. This is considered a product in the same segment as the Land Cruiser Prado, which is being distributed by the company in Europe and Australia.

Just then, the Japanese manufacturer revealed a "shadow" of a model that resembles the Land Cruiser 250 Series but is somewhat more compact, raising curiosity about whether Toyota is preparing to continue launching a new Land Cruiser SUV version aimed at a lower segment than the 250 Series.

Recently, the first leaked information confirmed this incident and said that the "mini" Land Cruiser model will be officially called Land Hopper, acting as the cheapest off-road SUV developed by Toyota.

According to the Best Car website, Toyota registered the “Land Hopper” brand name with the Japan Patent Office on August 8. This indicates that this will be the official name of the vehicle in the domestic market, but it does not rule out the possibility that the model may have a number of different names in different international markets.

Toyota is expected to introduce the Land Hopper to the public for the first time at the Japan Mobility Show in Japan this October. Carscoops reports that the car will have a starting price of around $27,000 (equivalent to about 650 million VND).
