Tonight, June 29, 400 people will participate in the largest Yoga performance ever in Hai Duong.

There were about 300 people participating in the rehearsal. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the rehearsal was conducted according to the script, the stages were coordinated, the movements performed by the Yoga students were skillful, beautiful and flexible.

That same evening, there will be about 400 people who are Trainers, instructors, Yoga practitioners, groups and individuals who love Yoga in Hai Duong participate in the performance.

The performance is expected to be attended by officials from the Indian Embassy in Vietnam; leaders of Hai Duong province, Hai Duong city and leaders of departments and branches.

The Yoga performance in Hai Duong aims to raise awareness of the effects of Yoga on health, physical strength and spirit; promote the culture and people of Vietnam and India; develop the Yoga practice movement in Hai Duong. At the same time, promote the friendly and cooperative relationship between Hai Duong province and the Embassy of India in Vietnam, as well as between the people of Vietnam and India.

Previously, at a working session with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dr. Monica Sharma, Director of the Indian Cultural Center, Embassy of India in Vietnam, said that Yoga originated in India about 2,000 years ago and has developed strongly around the world, including Vietnam, as well as Hai Duong. Indian Yoga has been recognized by UNESCO as a subject for everyone. In response to International Yoga Day, 15 provinces and cities in Vietnam have organized related activities.
