With this result, Hai Duong ranked 10th in the country and 5th out of 11 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta. The poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard of the province is 0.71%, ranking 7th in the country, 3rd in the Red River Delta after Hanoi and Hai Phong.
In addition, the gap between the highest and lowest income groups in the province is 5.1 times, much lower than the national average (7.5 times) and the Red River Delta (5.9 times).
